Ticketech: Digital Consumer Platform - Guest Arrival on POS

DIGITAL CONSUMER PLATFORM: GUEST ARRIVAL ON POS

Upon guest arrival, use Ticketech POS to initiate check-in as follows:


1. Select DAILY option

2. Input FULL license plate number


3. “GOOD MORNING, GOOD AFTERNOON OR GOOD EVENING”


4. “WELCOME TO ______”


5. “DO YOU HAVE A RESERVATION?”

If so, scan the guest reservation (bar or QR code).


6. Select MAKE and COLOR of the vehicle


7. Select Oversize or Prepay (if applicable) as follows: 


8. Confirm if vehicle is damaged

9. If the vehicle matches with a customer number: “WE ARE GOING TO BE TEXTING YOUR CLAIM CHECK TO THE NUMBER THAT ENDS IN 1234, IS THAT CORRECT?”

10. Otherwise: “FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE AND SAFETY, WE OFFER CONTACTLESS CHECK-IN. MAY I HAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER PLEASE SO WE CAN SEND YOU A TEXT MESSAGE WITH YOUR CLAIM CHECK?”

Input phone number, press ENTER, and verify that the guest received the text as follows:

If guest requests a “regular” paper claim check, press CANCEL to issue paper claim check from Ticketech POS.

1. Instruct guest to place vehicle in park and turn ignition off.

2. Remind guest to remove any valuables, i.e., phone or mobile device.

3. Confirm guest departure time.

4. Mention to guest that they can enter the credit card info in order to be contact-less and expedite check out.


If the parking location has poor cellular service, mention to guest that they should open their claim check on their phone and have it ready to scan with QR code visible before entering the garage. 

5. Obtain ignition key from guest or instruct guest to leave key in vehicle.

6. Roll driver’s side window down.

7. Retrieve ticket from Ticketech Printer.

8. Proceed to safely park guest vehicle.



Regular Paper Ticket Request

If guest requests a “regular” paper claim check, press CANCEL to issue paper claim check from Ticketech POS.
